Hi everyone,
We are here and everything is going so well. Emily i s a doll, she smiles, laughs and only fusses when she wants a bottle. She went to bed happy and pretty much put herself to sleep. She loved her bath . She is wearing the12- 18mo. size clothes, and yes a big girl and very tall also. So for now all is great, we are going for a little walk around the hotel. She likes the front back. Evan and Abby I love you and miss you. Are you doing your homework and practicing your flute (Evan)? we will see you in a few days, Evan, dad is watching myth busters in Spanish and of course soccer. Thanks for all the prayers! This blog was created for you to journey with us as we continue down the road to bringing our beautiful and precious baby girl into our family. After many months of waiting and lots of paperwork we finally were matched with a baby girl from Guatemala. We have wanted to adopt internationally for many years and it looks like it is finally coming together. We will do our best at keeping everyone up do date on our adoption journey.

Our fist visit to Guatemala to meet Emily!
In just a couple days Russell and I will be on our way to finally meet our little girl Emily Grace, this is only a visit which stinks, but it is one we would not miss and cannot wait to hug her and kiss that chubby little face.

How fun - I'm so excited that it is all going so smoothly. We miss you here and can't wait to hear it all in person and meet Emily this summer. So glad the blog works and you can send pictures.
