She is the happiest baby!!

We had so much fun with Emily, she was constant smiles and giggles. What a joy!

Lunch in Antigua.

We had lunch at a really cool hotel/restaurant that had been a governers home hundreds of years ago. The food was fantastic. Emily really loved being with Russell.

Blanket for Emily

We bought a blanket for
Emily, this was the lady that had made the blanket.

Church in Antigua.

Am I just too cute?

We are home from our wonderful trip!

Hi everybody,
We made it home late last Saturday night. Everything went perfectly. It was so amazing to see God's protection and concern for every detail. Russell and I loved the country of Guatemala and the people are wonderful. There is not one thing about our trip I would change(except if we could have brought Emily home with us) but as far as our flights, hotel, meetings, safety, and especially the time with Emily, every detail, it really was perfect. I am glad to be home though and get back to normal(whatever that is). On Monday we received our pre-approval from the US Embassy, that is a big deal. As far as I know that is the last document that we need to continue through the court process and get our little girl. We don't have any time frame at this point, some cases get finished in a couple months and others take much longer, of course we are praying for the speedy side. I know that Emily's birth mother needs to be located to do the final DNA test at the end of the process. Please pray that there wouldn't be major obstacles to hold up the processing. We can't thank you all enough for your prayers and support through this journey. We do look forward to our next trip to Guatemala and trust that will be the one where we get to bring Emily home! I will post information as we get it, but I am guessing there won't be too much for a while. So hang on with us and keep checking back.

Love you guys,
Anne.
